About Dr. Cawog
Lina Cawog, OD, is a dedicated and diligent optometrist at Eyes on Second in New York City, New York. She takes great pride in serving the people of New York City and East Village with remarkable care.
Dr. Cawog completed her Bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) in Pennsylvania and The American University of Beirut (AUB) in Lebanon. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry (SUNY) in New York City.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the New York State Optometric Association (NYSOA) and was presented with the Practice Management Award of Excellence by Marchon in 2016.
Patients see her for a variety of reasons, including routine eye care examinations, glaucoma consultations, allergic eye problems, cornea problems, dry eye, contact lenses, and management of ocular pathology.
Dr. Cawog gives each patient her focused attention, and she prides herself on delivering the best treatment available. She conducts her appointments with the personalized care and attention that she would expect for her own family.
Dr. Cawog is fluent in English and Arabic. She also speaks conversational Spanish. Her awareness of these different languages makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
